We supply conveyor beltsdesigned to last longer

Longer belt life isn’t simply an environmental advantage. It is a commercial advantage.

Saving the planet, one belt at a time.

The model

Reduce. Repair. Reuse.

Producing belts consumes vast natural resources and emits significant greenhouse gases throughout their lifecycle. Keeping belts longer in use, repairing and reusing them is the most effective solution available today, conserving resources and cutting the emissions tied to virgin material production.

01 — Outcome
Reduce

Repairing and reusing belts has a direct knock-on effect: less new material, less energy and fewer emissions overall.

02 — Action
Repair

AnnStuMax splice technology restores and extends belts in service, avoiding premature replacement.

03 — Action
Reuse

Belts kept longer in use practise full traceability and feed into new re-manufacturing services rather than landfill.

Solar panels, wind turbine, electric car, buildings, tram and pylon rendered in foliage
Every belt kept in service is less material made, moved and thrown away.
The impact

Longer-lasting conveyor belts = less of everything.

The impact goes far beyond extending the life of a single belt. A longer-lasting conveyor belt means:

01

Less money spent

Less frequent belt replacement. Less purchasing, delivery, fitting and maintenance — and less downtime.

02

Less manufacturing

Fewer replacement belts means less PVC, polyester, PU and other raw materials manufactured and used.

03

Less energy & fossil fuel

Reducing manufacturing, transport and replacement cuts energy use and the reliance on fossil fuels behind the polymers.

04

Less GHG emissions & pollution

Every belt that lasts longer reduces the emissions and wider environmental impacts of its manufacture, transport and disposal.

05

Less waste

Fewer discarded belts means less waste going to landfill or incineration.

06

Less transportation

Fewer replacements mean fewer deliveries and journeys, lowering both transport costs and environmental impact.

07

Less fitting & downtime

Longer belt life means fewer change-outs, less disruption and more time keeping your operation running.

And, above all…

We believe the future of conveyor belting is not about simply supplying more belts. It is about making every belt last longer, perform better and cost less, while reducing its impact on the planet.

Our first trial belt is still running, and the savings keep increasing.

From an Ecobelt visit to the keys of Number 10

In 2024 Andy Burnham visited Ecobelt and was told he would one day lead the country. In July 2026 that prediction came true.
