Our Environmental Sustainability Framework is articulated through three core pillars; these are underpinned by our 9 SDG’s

By integrating the UN's Sustainable Development Goals into our environmental sustainability policy, we are committed to making a positive impact on the planet. Through our actions, we aim to contribute to a more sustainable and resilient future.

Resource Conservation: We are committed to striving to develop products and services that bring positive impacts to the environment and society that outweigh the footprint it takes to produce and deliver them. We will implement practices that reduce waste generation, extend product lifecycles, promote recycling, contribute to a circular economy and reduce the environmental impact of our operations. We will optimize production processes and where possible, use recycled materials.

Climate Action: We acknowledge the urgency of addressing climate change. We will set targets to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions, implement carbon management strategies, continuously work towards climate neutrality and work with partners to sponsor climate off-setting projects that regenerate natural habitats and ecosystems. Through our actions, we aim to contribute to global efforts to mitigate climate change.

Clean Energy: We will optimize our energy use, transitioning to renewable and clean energy sources whenever feasible. By embracing energy-efficient technologies andpractices, we aim to reduce our carbon footprint and promote affordable and clean energy consumption within our operations.

Sustainable Land Management: We recognise the importance of protecting and restoring ecosystems and biodiversity. We will implement sustainable land management practices and strive to prevent pollution by adopting measures to minimise emissions, discharges and waste generation. We will work to minimize our impact on habitats and natural resources, and will strive to promote biodiversity conservation within our operations and supply chain.

Addressing Inequalities: People have a right to be treated with dignity, whatever their nationality, place of residence, sex, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, language or any other status. Every individual is entitled to enjoy human rights without discrimination. We will create inclusive and diverse workplaces.

Human Rights: We will act with due diligence to avoid infringing the rights of others, which includes addressing any negative human rights impacts related to our business. We will abide by international standards and avoid causing or contributing to adverse human rights impacts through our activities or relationships. We will engage employees and supply-chain to support internationally-proclaimed human rights and will ensure that we are not complicity in any human rights abuses.

Safe and Fulfilling Environment: We are committed to providing employment that is productive and delivers a fair income. We will provide and promote living wages in our own operations and throughout our value chain. We will adopt sound occupational health and safety practices and take action to eliminate child labour and forced labour. We will support employees with training and development so that they can progress in their careers.

Environmental Awareness: We will strive to raise awareness among our employees about the importance of environmental sustainability and provide training programs to enhance their understanding of sustainable practices. By fostering a culture of environmental responsibility, we aim to empower our employees to contribute positively to our sustainability goals.

Education: We will work with schools within our geographical areas of influence in order to assist in the education of pupils about the ecological implications of their choices. Help them to understand that they will have the power to change what industry does by the discissions they and their families make. Encourage them to ask where their purchases come from, how were they made and what effects on the environment these items have.

Innovation: We will invest in research and development to foster innovation, creating sustainable conveyor belt solutions that improve resource efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance environmental performance.

Partnerships: Achieving the SDGs requires collaboration and partnerships. We will actively engage with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and local communities, to foster shared responsibility and collective action toward environmental sustainability.

Supply Chain Responsibility: We recognize the importance of collaborating with our suppliers and partners to ensure that our supply chain upholds environmental sustainability standards. We will encourage suppliers to adopt environmentally responsible practices and work together to reduce the overall environmental impact of our products through recycling of products at end of useful life.

Continous Improvement: We are committed to regularly reviewing and improving our environmental performance. Through periodic assessments, we will identify areas for improvement and establish targets to reduce our environmental footprint. We will track our progress and communicate transparently with stakeholders regarding our sustainability initiatives.

Compliance with Environmental Regulations: We will comply with all applicable environmental laws, regulations, and standards to ensure that our operations meet or exceed the required environmental standards. We will continue to sign up to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and will strive to use EcoVadis to audit our actions.
