Invited to the Amazon Sustainability Innovation Cup Global Final

What began in March 2026 as an idea to drive sustainability awareness and international collaboration ended as a genuinely international contest, with entries carrying a combined expected value of several million in international scale-up savings.

The range of projects showed real ingenuity across several continents and departments — from energy efficiency to water conservation, from compressed-air optimisation to next-generation belting. It demonstrated the depth of grassroots talent at site level, and proved that the best ideas come from the people closest to the work.

The event brought together teams from every participating region, generating powerful discussion among regional leaders about rolling these technologies out globally.

The ISIC committee is preparing a scale-up plan for the technologies submitted, and has begun work on ISIC 2027 to widen the international network further.
