EcobeltsBelt types
A broad spectrum of belt types, designed to meet the most demanding conveying applications across every industry sector.
Most belts in this range can be fitted with our patented AnnStuMax™ splice technology — taking the splice beyond the strength of the belt carcass.
EcoConveyConveyor belting
Ecobelt has a broad spectrum of conveyor belt types, specifically designed to meet the most demanding of conveying applications throughout all industry sectors. From single ply chocolate cooling belts to six ply marble processing belts, we have the correct belt for your process.
Most belts in this range can also be fitted with our patented AnnStuMax™ splice technology. This increases the splice strength to beyond that of the belt carcass, eliminating the historical weak link that splices and joints are.
AnnStuMax™ splice technology can also be used to repair damaged PVC and PU belts, and in many cases can be retrofitted to existing belts prior to damage, in order to increase the splice strength to that of the belt carcass.
EcoTimeTiming belts, standard & refined
Timing belts come in many forms to perform a multitude of differing yet critical applications. Our range of timing belt types is second to none, with many types held as standard stock items and others available on short lead times.
Beyond the belt itself, we offer the full range of finishing and fabrication work that timing belts often need. That includes mechanical joints, surface coatings, cams and machining, so the belt arrives ready for the job rather than needing work on your side.
If you are unsure which profile, pitch or backing suits your drive, our team will specify it with you.
EcoMonoMonolithic PU belting
Monolithic or homogenous thermoplastic belting has redefined hygienic and hard wearing food and pharma grade belting since its inception, changing the way we convey in high demand food processing and pharmaceutical applications.
During the processing of foods and pharmaceuticals, hygiene is of paramount importance. Every surface they come into contact with needs to maintain the highest hygiene standards, with belts being some of the only plastics permitted for direct contact. These can be running in process for hours on end without any cleaning, so the stability and integrity of the belt surface needs to withstand such conditions. That, combined with an intense sanitising regime, puts demands on belts which our monolithic belts are specifically designed to withstand, reducing bacteria counts and elongating usable life.
Our range includes positively driven, self tracking, tension and reinforced para-aramid grades. Textured surfaces are available for drive, release or embossing, and metal detectable grades for high risk environments. Our fabrication department can custom fit both standard and bespoke sidewalls and cleats to meet the specific application.
Constant development of this product range has led to new grades designed to meet more general non food and pharma applications. There are a variety of joining methods including AnnStuMax™ splice technology, which makes the splice ten times stronger than the belt carcass without reducing the minimum pulley diameter standard.
EcoTefPTFE & silicone belts, tapes & materials
PTFE coated composites, commonly known as Teflon, a DuPont product, encompass a wide range of high performance process conveyor belts, tapes and materials. With a wide temperature range of -73°C to +260°C and with unparalleled release, durability, dimensional stability and chemical resistance.
Manufactured in both close weave and open mesh grades, our PTFE and silicone belts support some of the most intense and demanding applications, where the characteristics of PTFE and silicone and the durability of woven fibreglass and para-aramids are essential. We are capable of manufacturing belts from 3mm to 5.6m wide, and with a multitude of fabrication options including tracking systems, joint and splice types, our in house manufacture can meet every requirement you may have. Lightweight and strong with unparalleled thermal transfer properties, our belts can be used to replace costly and energy inefficient steel belting, with dramatic energy saving properties.
Tapes are used in a variety of applications from sealing packaging to reducing friction on vertical fillers, and on any surface requiring a lower friction or non stick surface. Used extensively in PVCu window production, our laminate grades can increase usable life from days to months in high intensity production facilities. We custom make zone tapes in house with no minimum quantity. Our magnetic detectable tape is used in food packaging applications to mitigate any risk of worn out tape being dragged into packaged food at the point of sealing.
Most PTFE and silicone grades can also be supplied in either roll form or manufactured into bespoke parts. This includes our laminate grades, which take the qualities of the PTFE dispersion coated products and enhance them with a laminated multi layer micro crack free cast film surface for elongated lifespan and release performance.
EcoModModular belting
Modular belts are made from solid plastic bricks connected in a brick lay pattern. They come in many sizes and from a broad range of materials, intended for specific applications and the environmental conditions in which they are used, with a broad usable temperature range of -70°C to +240°C. Positively driven and tracked, they have long lifespans when correctly specified, fitted and maintained.
They are typically of high strength and can have a flat smooth surface, or open patterns for airflow, drainage and release. A wide range of brick types can be incorporated into the build in order to create a specific surface characteristic to meet most applications.
Differences in the range cover all types of conveying need, from incline, decline, bend and spiral through to straight runs. All model types come with a variety of sprocket sizes, with options on bore shape, size and fitting type to meet most drive shafts. Custom fittings can also be supplied where required.
EcoMeshMesh belting
Our mesh conveyor belts are made from polyester fabric with monofilament warp and weft threads. The mesh spacing and the fabric's permeability can be changed by varying the number or diameter of these threads.
All materials are highly resistant to animal and plant fats and oils, and comply with EU 1935/2004 and the FDA (US Food and Drug Administration).
Mesh widths run from 0.5mm to 3.0mm, with permeability from 22% up to 51%, so the belt can be matched to the airflow or drainage your process needs.
Tell us what you are conveying, how hard you run it and the environment it runs in, and we will specify it with you.
